What is file sharing?

File sharing is when any type of media file that can be accessed and shared by many different people on many different computers.

What is P2P file sharing?

P2P file sharing is when a media file being shared from computer to computer like BitTorrent. Each of these computers has bit and piece of the file that are being downloaded and those that are downloading it have to access different computers to download these pieces in order to complete the file.

What are some examples of P2P file sharing?

BitTorrent is the current popular P2P file sharing and there are many users still use it to share/download files from it.
